Calling all Jewish families from the Northeast — and beyond!

Want to spend a weekend at camp as a family? Our Jewish Family Camp weekends are for you!

The Jewish Family Camp Series, created through the generosity of Robert and Amy Heller, shape and frame the Shabbat experience through hands-on programs and activities that explore the joys and challenges of family life through a Jewish lens. Created to address the growing challenges and changing face of the modern Jewish family, the Family Camps provide opportunities for families to enjoy quality time together while meeting other families and sharing experiences that make these weekends unforgettable!

With programming for parents, campers, and families all together, these weekends are fun-filled events with something for everyone to enjoy. From favorite camp activities to meaningful Shabbat celebrations, family weekends are the perfect Jewish weekend getaway.

We host three Family Camp weekends each year — in the Fall, Winter (Ski), and Spring — and all Jewish families are welcome, regardless of camp affiliation.

Come create lasting memories together.

Weekend Lodging

Families will stay together (kids and adults!) in a room/cabin. All facilities are well-heated, well-lit and will be well-stocked with clean linens (sheets, pillow, blanket, towels, and washcloth). If you have a favorite pillow and blanket or like a very large bath towel – might be a good idea to throw them in the car for the weekend. Most families will have their own bathroom, a few will share with another. Room/cabin assignments are made based on gender and age of the children, camps the children attend (when applicable), and family size.

Family Camp FAQs

Who should attend these weekends?

Mother/Child Camp Weekend is designed for mothers and children ages 6–13. The weekend focuses on bonding, shared camp experiences, and meaningful time together while enjoying classic camp activities.

Winter Family Camp Weekend tends to lean a bit older and is best suited for children 8–14 who can fully participate in the activities and winter adventures planned for the weekend. That said, younger siblings are absolutely welcome and families are encouraged to attend together.

Spring Early Childhood Camp Weekend is created especially for families with children ages 3–6, with programming and activities geared toward younger campers and their grown-ups. Older siblings are welcome and will still have plenty of fun joining in the camp experience.

No matter which weekend you choose, each program is designed to create a joyful, welcoming camp community for families to connect and experience the magic of camp together.

Can my camp-aged camper attend the weekend without me?
This is not a camper weekend for kids to attend without their grown-ups. Please come as a family!
We don't have a current Eisner or Crane Lake camper. Will we be the only ones?
Not at all! Our Family Camps are open to all families, regardless of your affiliation with our summer camps. Many of the families in attendance will not have a current camper.
I might need some help getting around on the hills and gravel. Will there be mobility assistance available?
Yes! We can help you with our golf cart. Ask any staff member with a walkie-talkie and your chariot will await!
